Microsoft - The Developer Movement

We inspired developers to build apps for Windows Phone by inviting them to join a mini-revolution, supporting them with training and industry recognition, and rewarding them with amazing prizes for their efforts. Our target was to get 200 apps in market. We exceeded expectations by more than 350% by getting over 700 apps. And in the first month alone, we broke the click-through record on the Xbox Dashboard. The campaign went on to win of gold at the Canadian Marketing Awards and silver at the Microsoft/Wunderman Global Summit.
